St. judes
I show kindness to others by spreading love and care.
St. Judes hospital started in the early 1950's by a group of Memphis business and a man named Danny. It was Danny's dream to full fill and establish a hospital free for children of charge. He wanted to devote the curing of catastrophic diseases in children. All patients receive treatment wether they can pay for it or not. St. Judes has a billing system which consist of patients not receiving bills. The ages of acceptance they treat is 21 or younger.
I currently sent out 5 cards out to the children at St. Judes hospital. Knowing that Ms. Longi's class sent over 1,000 cards that brought a smile to a child who is sick makes me feel good and glad that I'm able to make them smile. I feel really great sending the cards. These cards made me feel that i can help in a way that they keep fighting for their lives and to stay strong always. Hopefully my message helps them out as well.
I view life differently knowing that i can be physically active because i am not sick. I am more grateful that i am healthy and well. I should really take advantage and not be lazy to stay moderately active. I can be kind to other during physical education by helping others out that are struggling. By motivating them and helping them cope their failures or insecurities.
